Think for a moment about the greatest need you have. Express your concerns to Jesus and invite Him to share His wisdom and guidance related to this need.
As we begin to encounter the genuine love of God through these needs in our own lives, we find that God’s love overflows, and encourages us to love and care for others from the overflow of God’s love to us.
This was the message we shared with the respiratory therapists and housekeeping staff at a local hospital.
We wanted to bless these two special groups of workers because they are among the least acknowledged and least visible groups as they selflessly worked behind the scenes during this pandemic, daily putting their own health at risk as they cared for COVID patients.
Earlier this year, we went into the hospital and surprised all of them with gift cards, meals and treats to express our appreciation for their commitment and hard work.
We also shared scripture with these wonderful people and encouraged them to remember that Jesus has more ANSWERS than they have questions, more SOLUTIONS than they have problems, and more PROVISION than they have need!
As you know, our mission at Living Genuine Love is to connect every one to the heart of God. God has put it on my heart that an important part of this ministry will always be to reach out to the overlooked, the excluded and the ignored.
